DIY Hair Mask


Do you know that you have a treasure in your kitchen? If not, let me tell you that you do! I share with you two of my favorites hair masks that I like to apply on my hair before my shampoo.




For better Moisturization


- One egg

- Two big spoons of Greek yogurt

- Two tea- spoons of avocado oil

- One tea- spoon of vegetal glycerin (optional)

- Half of a tea- spoon of rice protein (optional)



Once you have mixed all the ingredients, keep it in your hair for 30 minutes. I recommend covering your hair so it can favorize the absorption.




Why those ingredients?

The yolk of the egg has vitamins A and E which help growing the hair. It is also very good against hair damage, so it strengthens the hair and helps if your hair is dry or very dry.

Greek yogurt is an amazing ingredient as it contains protein and helps against hair breaking. The acid that yogurt has (lactic acids) are great to clean dead skins and the scalp. Therefore, it favorites the growth of hair.

Avocado oil is just as great as the avocado itself. It had vitamin D which is also a primordial ingredient for hair growth.

Vegetal Glycerin really is a treasure for your hair. It does both moisturize and protect your hair. It is highly humectant, so it absorbs humidity, keeping your hair moisturize for long.

Rice protein is, honestly, an ingredient that I know only since last year. This is one of the best ingredients that, I believe, we should all have at home! This ingredient is amazing for the hair growth. It makes it strong and resistant.


For shiny hair


- One banana

- Two tea- spoons of macadamia oil

- One big spoons of honey

- One tea- spoon of vegetal glycerin (optional)

- Half of a tea- spoon of silk protein (optional)




If you chose this mask, 30 minutes is also enough before doing your shampoo. Just like the previous one, cover your hair so it can absorb the mask.





Why those ingredients?

Banana has potassium which helps your hair growth. Banana also makes your hair brighter and stronger.

Macadamia oil is a good oil for your health and your hair as well. It helps to make them stronger, smoother and more manageable.

Silk protein is amazing if you want more elastic and shiny hair.
